Let’s get started. ⬇️
OSINT News
📰 NesherAI In Action - Face Recognition
Face recognition technology is getting better. I stumbled across this video demonstrating NesherAI and it’s ability to do face recognition even if there is a visual obstruction to a face (like a mask or scarf).

📰 Ann Wagner Appointed to Lead New OSINT Subcommittee on House Intelligence Committee
The significance of OSINT in the intelligence community continues to grow. I remember when we used to call it “Classified CNN”.
Open-source intelligence is essential for a wide audience of policymakers, decisionmakers, and other consumers who gain situational awareness without having to rely on classified or restricted sources.
📰 Search Google Maps with the help of AI
Henk Van Ess puts Google’s newset AI model to the test giving it several geolocation and object recognition challenges to see how it fares. The results are surprising.

OSINT Tools
🔎 RootAbout
RootAbout is a reverse image search engine that reminds me a lot of Karma Decay. It has a static repository of images and if your input image matches, it’ll give you more whatever information it has about it.

🔎 Hippie OSINT Toolkit
Hippie OSINT Toolkit is a series of tools available via web app that allow you to reverse search a domain, a TikTok post, an image, or username (and more). I commend them for their excellent user interface. Each of their pages contain investigative techniques, showing them what to do with the information found. Great work.

🔎 AzSky
If anyone remembers the Dissenter extension for Gab, you’ll have an idea of what AzSky is trying to achieve and why it’s relevant to OSINT investigations. It’s essentially a wrapper around BlueSky conversations that removes barriers like character limits without the need to thread. It looks and feels like Reddit and BlueSky hung out for a weekend.
To switch from BlueSky to AzSky, just change bsky.app to azsky.app in the URL and it’ll change views.
