The OSINT Newsletter - Issue #64
The latest and greatest in OSINT news, tools, tactics, and techniques.
👋 Welcome to the 64th issue of The OSINT Newsletter. This issue contains OSINT news, community posts, tactics, techniques, and tools to help you become a better investigator. My goal with this newsletter is to help promote the OSINT industry, develop better investigators, and raise awareness of ethical use cases for open source intelligence.
🚨 I have exciting news. The OSINT Newsletter has been acquired by OSINT Industries. We’ll be joining forces to deliver the latest and greatest research and development in open source intelligence. Since this is a major announcement, I want to be clear about a couple of things.
Why is this newsletter being acquired?
I’ve run this newsletter as a 1 man band for over 3 years. It’s grown exponentially and I constantly have issues keeping up without a support team. I considered building a team; however, the OSINT space is so niche it’s difficult to find the right people to partner with. OSINT Industries already had the team I needed and were more than happy to help.
Am I still going to write the newsletter?
Yes. I’m still going to be the sole author of the newsletter and will host the relaunch of The OSINT Podcast. The only thing that will change is ownership, customer support, marketing (social media), and sponsorship relations. This newsletter will not turn into an ad for OSINT Industries.
🪃 If you missed the last newsletter, here’s a link to catch up.
⚡ A Deep Dive into Truth Social for Open Source Intelligence
Let’s get started. ⬇️
OSINT News
📰 11 Free No-Code OSINT Tools You Should Bookmark
This newsletter has a lot of technical content in it. For beginners, this can be challenging. Ben made a video with a series of no-code OSINT tools for people who are not yet comfortable with writing tools, using GitHub tools, etc.

📰 The 23-year-old who infiltrated a North Korean laptop farm
This is an interesting case study for a practical use case for open source intelligence. Sasha writes about how Aidan used OSINT to document an operation to exploit US businesses.
🎩 H/T: Sasha Ingber, Aidan Raney
📰 London Gangs Information (Map)
The UK OSINT Community recently shared a new tool that displays gang territories in London. This is built on the back of a larger OSINT initiative to map out gang related actively globally on the /r/hoodmap subreddit.

OSINT Tools
🔎 noimosiny
A new reverse email, phone number, and username tool is on the market. It has a free trial if you want to check it out. Compare the results between OSINT Industries, Epeios, lolarchiver, and others and see if there are differences.
🎩 H/T: Sox0j (Discovery)
🔎 Truthbrush
Last issue I wrote about Truth Social from an OSINT perspective. Truthbrush is an official API wrapper of Truth Social that makes the research I showed last week easily accessible and usable in an OSINT tool. If you liked last issue and want to add Truth Social into your OSINT tool, this is the way.

🔎 linkook
linkook is another open source tool that does reverse username searches; however, this tool also takes the username and finds related emails including checking whether it’s been involved in breaches. If you’re new to OSINT and want to better understand OSINT tooling, dig into this tool as it’s pretty modern and comprehensive.
