OSINT News
📰 AI-Powered OSINT: Email/Username Lookup + Face Matching
Generative AI is the black swan. It’s everywhere. Now, it’s in email and username lookup with Noimosiny. Requiring structured inputs for search engines was always an issue. Enter the email here, the phone number there, the usernames over there; add a new row for a second email, etc. It’s nice to think I can just paste everything I have into one box and have AI sort it out.

📰 Nowhere to Run: The Online Footprint of an Alleged Kinahan Cartel Associate
Shoulder-surf an investigation into a cartel associate and understand the tools, tactics, and techniques of a Bellingcat investigator. Learn how they used Strava, Instagram, and other sources to build a digital footprint.

OSINT Tools
🔎 Deepface UI
DeepFace is a great CLI tool/library for facial recognition. Now, there’s a UI version that’s free to use with a little bit of configuration. Investigate images at scale with this new tool.

🔎 FilePhish v2
FilePhish is a great, easy to use file investigative tool. Recently there was an update to v2 with several new features and an easier user experience.

🔎 R00M 101
Doing a username lookup on Reddit is a simple task. Mining that Reddit profile to characterize the individual behind it is not a simple task. R00M 101 looks through all interactions of a Reddit user and generates a detailed profile about the user including “stage of life” and “hobbies”.
